Forgive me for not feeling too sorry for all of you. I know you all work very hard and deserve every second you have off. But I had off 2 days, Christmas and New Years. I would have loved to have had a week and a half off.

I cant believe vacation is over! When we first left I thought, omg 2 weeks, this is gonna last and last...I WAS SO WRONG!
It went so fast and although I know exactly what I am going to do when I go back, I cant imagine waking up early every day again and driving to work. Usually after the first day back Im ok but Sunday night I am going to be in tears!!!!!!!
Thank god for february break!!!!!!

Wow, try engaging a classroom full of children from the time they get there to the time they leave for five days a week, and see how you feel. As much as I know you were probably kidding, it's still a bit offensive. I wouldn't turn around and say, 'Well, I don't feel bad you only had two days off because that's the job you chose.' I don't know, just not cool to say something like that, especially when being a teacher is one of the most important jobs. None of us would be where we are without teachers. JMHO. I don't normally care what the hell anyone else says, but as a teacher, I felt the need to comment. Sorry.

Omg...I am having such anxiety because I dont want to go back!!!!!!
I love my job but I just feel like I CANT do it tomorrow. Mind you I only woke up at 2 in the afternoon today and now I wont be able to sleep all night long...not good at all!
I think a lot of exhausted teachers and kids will be in school tomorrow.

Re: any other depressed teachers out there?
I don't want to go back, I don't want to go back, I don't want to go back. I finally brought my school bag in at 7pm tonight. I have to go in early to plan for the week, because I forgot to bring home my lesson plan book. I actually thought about my students last night. I tried to remember all of their names. Honestly I love teaching, but I love the breaks. I sound so negative. I know once I am back I'll be fine. At least the kids will be mellow their first day back. Good luck everyone!!!
