Any other VIP studio Brides get the Diamond Package

I was wondering who else booked with john and went for the diamond package and if anyone who already tied the knot got it and how did the album turn out.

this is the 'storybook' kinda album, i dont know anyother way to describe it. When we booked with John and picked this option, it was a new package and I dont think he had done it yet. So i figured I would check here to see if anyone else had this done or is doing it.

I am getting that album but he actually didnt have a sample when i booked, i am actually meeting with him tonite to see the sample.

I just saw the sample this past week and it is AWESOME! I am getting that album! It is digitally done, so the photos are digitally printed by page. It was really beautiful how you can get a page with the photo having full bleeds to the edge (meaning there is no border left around the page). It really looked great and totally unique. It is nice becuase you are not limited on photo size with matting. There were pictures of all different sizes and shapes put together like a collage. Plus you get 100 pics! It was perfect for my 'not so traditional' taste. Plus the album is really nice and also a unique size. I think you will really like what you see!

He didnt have a sample when we booked either, I had actually seen one of these albums a coworker brought it to work and I loved it.
I didnt even know John had them and then he showed me the brochure, and I was sold.

Well you will have to let me know how the album looks like. I would love to go check it out but he is so far.

I saw the book too.. I opted for the regular album included in the gold package but only because the look of *that* album really suits me and my needs.. I guess I can always change my mind..

The book for the diamond package is large.. like legal size and very big.. instead of having a black background where the pics are mounted, you get a choice of colors, and you can overlap pics and what not. .it's really nice !

ddunne23 - your wedding is around the corner, so you will have to let us know how your album turns out. isnt the turn around on getting your album really quick.

i am so excited I love it.
we are getting 3 parents albums too.
I loved it so much and since my parents are divorced I figured why not.

I bet we all will be so happy, glad we can share with one another.

Yes, I believed John said once all the pics are scanned and the album is designed it takes about 30 days to produce the album versus the couple of months for standard albums. We are actually getting parents the regular album style that comes with all the packages and just upgrading our album...I want our album to be one of a kind!! I will definately let you know how it turns out.

it is definetly original, i like it alot, some of the backrounds were a little busy but he said you just tell him what you dont like and he will leave it out, any questions just ask me.

Hmmm don't know if I knew about this option. We didn't pick a package yet. I guess I will see it when I meet with him about my proofs. Did you have to decide before he took the shots?

Anyone know if he scans all your proofs. I have seen some photographers that do that.

Hey Jenn - We picked our package when we meet with him. We are getting all the proofs on a cd.
dont know if he does that will all the packages, but was included in ours with the Diamond package.

did it look better then you expected or worse?

I didn't see the album either however it was big from what John described it being. To big for little me.

We are in the process of meeting with photographers and we actually met with John last night. I saw the diamond package book. I prefer the traditional album but this one was cool. It is a heavey leather album that allows several pictures on a page. Think of a scrap book concept but of course much much nicer.
