Any Plus-sized TTC'ers?

Are you trying to lose any weight now before getting pregnant. I've got a good bit of weight to lose and am scared of really blowing up when I get pregnant. Does anyone know if you can safely diet while your are pregnant?

I'm pretty sure you can do weight watchers while pregnant. They add points to your daily point range if you are preggo. I'm not sure about other dieting while pregnant, but eating healthy will keep you from 'blowing' up as you call it!

I didn't even think about weight watchers...but I hate having to go to meetings! Maybe I can do the online one.

I've been on WW for awhile. I did really well at first -- I was preparing for TTC and did great. I lost over 30 pounds. But then after a year of TTC and being depressed I've gained a lot of it back.

For me WW is the only way to go. I'm trying to get back on track. I've done it online as well. It's really just changing you lifestyle -- not so much a diet. The biggest thing is portions. So I think if you at least try to live a healthier life -- eating less, and more of good foods, and exercising then that is the best you can do.

It's not good to diet to extremes when you are trying b/c that can have an adverse effect on TTC.

I may be wrong, but I heard that you can not attend Weight Watchers meetings while you are pregnant anymore. I know you could in the past. One of my friends tried to go when she first found out she was PG and they told her she was not allowed.

anyone else hear this?

ETA: oh, to answer the question, yes I am afraid I would 'blow up'. I am not exactly dieting but I am trying to watch what I eat.
