Hi

We had about 4 Polish CD's that my band Time Square Orchestra played for us during dinner and at the end of the night when the older people left

We had my DH's polish DJ friend mix some CD's for us... If you wan't I can have him mix some for you as well??

Just to let you know we have a Polish Brides Thread on the '04 board...

I live in Selden now with my DH..

Let me know if you would like me to ask the DJ, I'm sure he is going to ask for a price not sure how much it is... or if you want to go check out the stores first

Re: Any Polish Brides?

I married a Pole Krzysztof was born in Gdynia and grew up in Gdansk and then moved here when he was 13. We did the bread, salt and wine blessing at our wedding and the band played a few Polish waltzes. The relatives who came to the wedding from Poland just wanted to dance, though, so they didn't care what the music was.

I dont think we will be doing bread and salt tradition unless parents insist - I am not too big on tradition....

Re: Any Polish Brides?

My mom really wants it, and I think it'll be very nice....it only takes 5 minutes, if that, adn it's a nce touch, but then again I was born there, and have seen pictures and heard stories of it done at weddings in Poland
