I'm 'of Polish descent', lol, but I'm American.. there wasn't too much Polish culture in my life beyond pierogies, galumpkis, kielbasa and babushkas ![]()
My last name is super Polish and I wear a name tag at work.. I always have people asking me 'Do you speak Polish?'![]()

Hahaha the same goes for me. my nana is polish, and when I was younger we would converse only in polish... Now I can barely form a sentence!

My dad is Polish. Hence my extreme desire to take my FH name when I get married. I love my heritage but I can't stand constantly having to spell out my last name and pronounce it for people. Has anyone been to the Polish festival in Riverhead? It usually happens in August. They perform a traditional Polish wedding every year which is really sweet to watch.
