Loved Lotus Bridal on Avenue U, Brooklyn. The girls are great!

I went here and Campbell was my bridal consultant. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this salon. No pressure, beautiful dresses, and just a fabulous time!! Ask for him he is so knowledgable and easy to work with.

Lotus Bridal 100%. I cannot say enough good things about them. Chelsea, in particular, was a delight to work with.

There is also Valentina's Bridal on New Utrecht Avenue around 76th Street which is a beautiful store comparable to Kleinfeld's. And Doris Fashions on 18th Avenue & 68th Street.
Both stores are excellent.

Valentina's Bridal on New Utrecht Avenue and Doris Fashions and The White Gown in Dumbo

i didnt end up getting my dress there but really enjoyed my appt and will be going back to look for BM dress at both.

i ended up getting my dress at kleinfelds, which was a total shock to me. i had heard so many horror stories that i walked in expecting the worst. but it was wonderful

actually the only bad appt i had was at Pronovias

Heard good things about Doris Fashions as well, But i know that their store had burned down last year and not sure where they relocated to.

they moved back into the original store a month or two ago ... i got my dress at doris, great price ... i actually lost it in the fire but they got a replacement from maggie sottero super fast ...

I just got my dress on Sunday at Kleinfeld's had an amazing experience- I worked with Erica she was so sweet & understood exactly what to show me. She stayed within my budget the whole time. Even though I knew the first dress I tried on was it she bought me 10 others just so I could be sure.

Thank you all so much for your help ! I made apt @ Saks, Kleinfelds, Lotus and Pronovias. Will look into all the other suggestions.....

In Brooklyn I recommend Lotus Bridal on Ave. U as well. In the city I'd hit up RK Bridal, I found my dress there. You can also try Macy's Bridal Salon, they have a decent selection of dresses. I just did not care for their sales ppl, they were a lil pushy for my taste.

Lotus is awesome and they match prices!!

Valentinas is nice, but they were too pricey IMO.

I, also, saw that Doris reopened a couple of months ago.
My older DIL bought her dress and all the BMs dresses in Valentina's and everyone was very pleased. I got my dress for my younger son's wedding at Doris. In fact the MOB, sister of the bride and my SIL all got their dresses for Peter's wedding at Doris. We had Maria as our sales girl and Josephine did mine and my SIL's alterations. They had to ship the MOB gown and the bride's sister gown to other states as they are from New Mexico and everything was done on time. Maria even steamed my other DIL's BM gown for free for Peter's wedding. They were super nice and reasonable.
