Any recomendations for Obedience Training classes?
I would love to know where to go and how much it is. We live in Levittown. Thanks!

Re: Any recomendations for Obedience Training classes?
I don't, but I was just looking up places (here in VA) to take Bama for Obedience and Agility and found this website:Agility
This website is primarily for agility training, but the place that they list for VA also does obedience. The guy listed for NY is in Huntington, but maybe he can recommend a place a little closer to you....

Re: Any recomendations for Obedience Training classes?
I know the Petco stores hold classes, but I'm not sure how much those cost. Also, there's a pet store on Hempstead Tpke, near the Home Depot - that has classes. Here is their website, we always see the sign out front for classes, grooming, etc.Obedience Classes
We were actually just talking to our breeder last week about classes and asking where to go, etc. He recommended a place in Holtsville that he takes his Rotties to, but that might be a bit to far from Levittown. We're right next door to you in East Meadow, but we're going to take Golem out there once he's is old enough only bc they're really awesome with Rotties and our breeder spoke so highly of them. This place looks pretty good though - and it's not too far out of the way either. Good luck!

Karissa - I have a WONDERFUL trainer for you!! I have the info at home but her name is Pat and her company is Curious Canines. She gives a free in-home evaluation and all the lessons are private. We used her for Larry David and she was WONDERFUL. I'll FM you her number tonight, I think she's based out of Huntington but I live in Forest Hills and she came to me with no problem.

Hmmm... that may be what this comes out to BUT these are private lessons in your home and it the end is no leash or anything, they're spectacularly trained.
I used her for something different so I'm not positive of the prices. I'll post her contact info when I get home. Definitely give her a call, she's great to even just talk to.

Try Mike at 3 Village dog camp --- www.lidogcamp.com --- great place. He trains police dogs. He did my little Yorkie --- really helped and does group classes for like $100. We did Petco....it stunk. Waste of money. Mike is a pro and great!
