Re: Any recommendations for Sunday brunch??

Kathi,

My fiance and I are huge Sunday brunch-goers! If you want a buffet, the Boardwalk restaurant at Jones Beach has a great one, but no alcohol with the brunch and it's $20 each.

We're pretty casual people so we're most comfortable at the White Whale bar/restaurant in Seaford on the water. The buffet brunch is only $12 each and they include unlimited bloody marys, screwdrivers and mimosas.

Sweeny's in Bethpage also includes alcohol and they've got a great sit-down brunch, but it's not unlimited food. They're mid-ranged priced, probably around $16 each.

We didn't like the Runyon's brunch cause it was almost $20 each for a buffet and the drinks were very watered down.

Hope that helps! If I think of any more, I'll re-post.

Jacki

I know u said Nassau, but the Bonwit Inn in Commack is EXCELLENT! It is only about 25 minutes from my house and I am in Nassau county also! They have everything from soup to nuts! They were rated one of the best on Long Island. It is like being on a cruise ship!
