Any restaurant Recs?

FH & I are going to dinner Sunday-he said we can go whereever i want. We're saving for the wedding so i don't want us to go any where $$$$ I was like lets just go to the Cheesecake factory or Grand Lux cafe and enjoy a good meal but we're afraid we'll be waiting 1 1/2 hours for a table!! Does anyone know of any nice restaurants on LI that are reasonably priced where we can get a great meal? Thanks!

Grillfire is one of my favs - one in Merrick and one in RVC. Reasonably priced but I would call for reservations b/c both places are on the smaller side.

careful with the restrictions on restaurant.com! a lot of them require a minimum purchase, or are not valid on weekends and holidays.

Well, I wouldn't say it's the most romantic, or the best food, but it's certainly something to remember....

White Castle!!!! Don't know if there are any on LI, but that's where we'll be found Sunday night

we really like going to Ayhans restaurant..its next to David's Bridal in Westbury (down the street from Cheescake Factory at the Source Mall).

other places we like going to:
Jani's Chinese/Japanese in RVC - theres another one in Hicksville too (a few blocks down from IKEA).

The source mall has P.F Changs and a Greek place too. I've been to that Greek place and the food and atmosphere is good. Not too fancy and pricey either.

I've been to another P.F Changs and the food was yummy. Chicken lettuce wraps yummm

I was going to recommend benihana! But a little expensive, no? If you are saving money. But YES, it's fun and interactive. Check first if you need reservations, especially for valentines day
