I'm just thinking ahead to the rehearsal dinner. Ideally, I'd like a restaurant on the water or even beach setting where we could bring in an outside caterer. Any idea if this exists in Westchester? Thanks!

Re: Any restaurants on the water in Westchester?
You could do something in City Island, there are tons of restaurants on the water. My friends shower was there, The Harbor House I think. Also, I'm not sure if they do parties because the restaurant is kind of small, but check Seaside Johnnies in Rye.
ETS: There's also a place in New Rochelle, but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me. Ask at Glen Island, I'm sure they could recommend a place.

Re: Any restaurants on the water in Westchester?
the only restaurant in new rochelle that is on the water is a place called on the waterfront- but it's not really on the water- really like you overlook the marina. but as for a nice place in westchester that you can have a RD- i would do a search online for places on the water. i am from the area and there really isn't too much besides the beach clubs that are on the water. good luck! if i think of any... i will let you know.

Harvest on the Hudson.......Its around Dobbsferry?!? it is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ETA- we went to surprise bday- they did a cocktail hour outside and then we went in for dinner-it was SUPERB!
AS far as bringing in outside catering-I doubt it..
There is also a beach in Rye New york called Oakland Beach- maybe you could work something out w/ them.

I forgot about Harvest on the Hudson. It's got awesome views and the food is fantastic. It's really not near New Rochelle at all though.
