Any reviews on the Holiday Inn in Ronkonkoma?

I did a search and nothing came up. I went there as well as the Hilton Garden Inn. I liked the Hilton better because it is newer, but FI liked the Holiday Inn better because of the bar for after the reception.

Any reviews out there?

There is a $20 difference in rate, so it not that big of a deal...

We finally decided on Fiji. Maybe Turtle Island. IF we can get the time off 3 weeks.

Where is the Hilton Garden Inn?

HGI is just a little past Holiday Inn on the right...maybe 1/4mile-1/2mile down.

As far as cost...I think it will depend on time of year too! I am getting married in July and was quoted much higher prices than my cousin was who got married in May. We were able to get HGI down to $135 a night for a Friday night ($139 a night for Holdiay INn) !! I thought we would be able to get less but no luck...and that was with playing Holiday Inn and Hilton Garden Inn against each other.

for me.....they did not play or compete really against each other....HGI is pretty much a business place
they WILL give you $119-$129 no matter what the timeof year
i as quoted that
i said that is what someone told me over the phone and they honored it

same thing with a friend in June...paying $129

That's really shady!!! Both my parents and my aunt (who is a travel agent and is really good at haggling prices) were initially told a much higher quote at both places!
I think I am getting ripped...or at least my guests are!
