I did a search and nothing came up. I went there as well as the Hilton Garden Inn. I liked the Hilton better because it is newer, but FI liked the Holiday Inn better because of the bar for after the reception.
Any reviews out there?
There is a $20 difference in rate, so it not that big of a deal...

I went to a wedding at the Ronkonkoma Holiday Inn and wasn't impressed. I hope it was just an off night.

I had a very negative experience with The Hampton Inn and their sister hotel, Holiday Inn, while trying to book rooms for my wedding. Based on that, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

same here!!!!! i want the bar i have heard mixed reviews but decided to stick with the holiday inn
i have a $10 difference with the 2 of them...you can bargain!

We were between the 2 as well and ended up choosing the Garden Inn. For my brother's and my cousin's weddings, they blocked the Holiday Inn and while the bar was nice to have, it really has nothing special for the price. The Hilton Garden Inn is so new and they actually have a bar area too that they will keep open for after the rehearsal dinner or wedding if you request it. We played the too hotels off each other and ended up getting the Hilton Garden Inn for cheaper plus our room is free!

I know, my FI is hooked on the bar at the holiday Inn. Good to know that I can bargain with them. Do you think I can get the Hilton down to $109?

for a saturday night i doubt it.... we were playing with that
i just heard recently from someone that Hilton Garden said they would keep the bar open (which they said they would for me too) BUT they closed it on them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i just thought for the night Holiday inn would be fine!

Our OOT guests stayed at Holiday Inn Ronkonkoma and I was very impressed. The shuttle vans picked up my guests at the airport and the LIRR (many of them went back and forth from the train a few times during their stay w/o incident). The van also took some of my friends across the street to applebees (cause it was raining) and to a place to get their nails done. My mom hosted a morning after brunch in one of the rooms down stairs and the food was really fresh and tasty. My friends partied at the bar after the wedding and the DJ seemed pretty good and they seemed to keep track of my OOT giftbags pretty well. WOW - i didnt realize how impressed I was by Holiday in until after I wrote this.

The Holiday Inn told me that they only did a block of 25 rooms. If you needed more, they would open it up. The Hilton did not give me a minimum/maximum...
