Re: Any Sans Souci Brides
I am pencilled in the there... Do they only have 2 weddings a day - do you pick the time or or do they?? They are booked on the Sunday night (6-12)we want to have it so we would take the AM wedding which I thought would be sooo pretty on a beautiful day with the water view and the windows... Did anyone have the AM slot and how did it work out for you?!

My flowers are included in my price, But I am thinking about doing Candlebras But I have no idea how the house florist is, I know she told me if I wanted to upgrade it would cost a little more, and that's fine, just wondering did you use their house florist and how much was the upgrade, and if you know if the florist rents out candlebras. What did you pick out of the menu that everyone really enjoyed, do you recommed anything? Thanks alot

I understand that the house florist is terrific - I think I might have the email of someone who rents them for $25/ table but see what Donald says - I am sure that he can get them for you... I am going with the basic menu b/c it's in our budget... What time is your party?? Are you getting married there??

Have not done one thing except pick the place and go over to 12th night photo to see his stuff...I met with Mary Anne(th) very nice - I did get a terrific email from a woman who went to the tasting last week - I think we will go to the one in March...will you be there??
We are getting married on Sunday am and they assured us that they next party is not allowed on the premises until 30 min. after our party is over so I feel better!
Mine is 9/12/04!!
Did you meet with the florist yet??
I know that we are getting the 1st menu b/c it fits perfectly in our budget...
Also, who is you band/DJ...Thanks! D

Re: Any Sans Souci Brides
They have this thing the 1st Thursday of the month...another girl who was thinking of getting married there told me about it - it's a dinner that is $35 = drink/tax/tip and you taste all of their different kinds of foods & you get the amount deducted off the top of your wedding bill - it's not a tasting per se but a terrific way to get an idea of what the foods taste like before you make your menu!
We are def. going - let me know if you go so we can introduce!
Can you email me the # or your band??
I have done nothing else since thought we were booking the Metropolitan & changed our minds...this is so much more wedding-y! No dress yet either!
My parents have been away in Florida and I know my mom really wants to go with me 1st to look at the dresses...what about you??
My friend from junioe hi school is a rabbi and she will marry us -which is very cool!

I didn't use the house florist, I got a credit for the flowers. I used Simply Elegant in Glen Head. I think that chmlengr used Hedgecock Florist.

Re: Any Sans Souci Brides
I was going to use the house florist and upgrade and use him for my personals. I heard good things about them. Does anyone have more information about this tasting, because I didn't know about it. My mother was actually going to call to see if we try some of the food.
I love the place, my only concern is that if it rains there is really no where to take pictures.
