Me, Me!! I'm a Sans Souci bride! I just love it, too. We found it really unique. The people are so pleasant and the food is fabulous! My wedding is this August. I can't wait.

Cathy, What entrees did you choose? I'm getting married in August, so we'll probably be doing our menu in May.

I got married there on December 1st and the place is wonderful. Everything worked out great. The staff is amazing and the food was great. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. Good luck.

Re: ANY SANS SOUCI BRIDES
Congrats.....I just put a posting up about them too. I am trying to decide between them and The Riviera. Question....did she mention something to you about only going to the bridal suite 15 minutes before the reception. I was wonderring if that means that you can not stay up there if you do not want to be part of the cocktail hour. I am looking into it for Juky 4th.....I am trying to find out if you can see fireworks from the bay. Any concerns about having the cocktail hour outside??? I am worried about people walking in the grass in their heels. The only thing about her that upset me was that they Refused to do any kind of tasting before the wedding. I feel like it is an awful big committment to make without knowing the food.

Re: ANY SANS SOUCI BRIDES
Just wanted to add that I was a Sans Souci bride (9/20/02) and you all made a great choice! The wedding was spectacular, food and service amazine, everything was perfect! Agv - I am surprised the wouldn't do a tasting with you. Do they have a showcase coming up? That's where I tasted the food. As for the cocktail hour outside, I didn't hear any complaints about high-heels in the grass. I was fine out there (I only had tiny heels on my sandals though). I had full access to the bridal suite for the entire cocktail hour. Maybe she meant you only had access 15min prior to the start of the cocktail hour (there might be another party before yours). If any of you have any other questions, feel free to FM me!

Re: ANY SANS SOUCI BRIDES
I got married there almost a year ago (5/11/02 - gulp). Everything was wonderful. Food was phenominal... Service, excellent.
I had my cocoktail hour outside. Not one complaint. I had on heels and had no problems. We had full access to the bridal suite as well.
FM me you have any specific questions. Are you dealign with Carol? She helped us out big time.

Re: ANY SANS SOUCI BRIDES
Here's the menu that we chose. Bear in mind that we booked in Nov. 01, so some of the choices were a little different.
Third Course: Chicken Venuto, Thai Crusted Chilean Sea Bass or Filet Mignon Merlot
Cake: Strawberry Shortcake with Whipped Cream Frosting. Fresh Strawberries & blueberries in between the layers.
Carol told us that if we didn't attend the cocktail hour, we'd be in the bridal suite. If we attended the cocktail hour (which it seems most brides there do) the bridal party leaves 15 minutes early so that they can get the guests inside for the introductions.
I've been to two showcases to taste the food. Once with FH & once with my mom. They don't do a tasting just for you, maybe that's what she means. One of the tastings was outdoors. My mom & I came right from work, and didn't have any problems walking around. We both found it really peaceful & relaxing.
Hope that helps!

Unfortunately they no longer do showcase tastings. That's why I am running into the problem. Thank you for all the information.

Re: ANY SANS SOUCI BRIDES
The food is really amazing. If that's the only thing holding you up from making your decision, don't let it. I absolutely loved the raspberry and brie and I also ordered the chilean sea bass for my main course and it was great. I also had unlimited access to the bridal suite before the cocktail hour and anytime I wanted during the reception. I too can answer any specific questions with FM.
