Any shoe suggestion?
I am getting married in late September and my bridesmaids are wearing crandberry. I can't figure out what to do about shoes? Any stores or website that might match? I was hoping to stay away from dyeables.

Dyeables might be your best bet, since the exact shade of cranberry can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. However, you can also consider allowing your maids to wear black cloth shoes, instead of a shoe of the same color. Good luck!

Any shoe suggestion?
My girlfriend who just married had a deep wine red dress, which had a black tint to it...we wound up wearing black shoes and wraps and it looked wonderful!

I also had a Sept wedding and the girls wore bordeux colored dresses. I told them to find dyable shoes that they liked and get them dyed as close as possible. It worked out well since all the bridesmaids lived in different states.

Are black shoes okay?
If they are that is always the easiest solution. You can always tell them to keep them matte or satin depending on what the material of the dress is. Dyables is the next best thing because cranberry is going to be super hard to match, plus get all of the girl's sizes in the same shoe.

I plan on getting cranberry or maroon and having the girls wear black shoes (they can pick the style). I also was in a bridal party in Nov that wore cranberry and we wore black as well. Actually all picture in the magazine was wearing black too!

Glass slippers
I wore shoes that were mostly plastic (look like glass slippers) for my wedding. My sister did the same for her sweet sixteen. We think they tend to be more comfortable for dancing.

Same problem for me - My Solution
My girls are wearing Scarlet/Crimson color and I will NOT let them wear dyables. Dyables scare me because they never come out the same color and different reds can look horrible together. I am having them wear either black or silver strappy sandal like shoes (so there is minimal shoe to see). They will all wear the same color I just haven't decided whether the black or the silver looks best!

I say do what you want but I didn't have any trouble with the dyables. I had seven bridesmaids who all got there shoes in different places and they all looked fine -- plus like you say you really don't even see them if the dresses are long enough. In fact the photographer took a picture of all the girls showing off their different shoes and it's so cute. I think black or silver will work just fine as well.Welcome New Vendors
