Thank you everyone for your tips and support. It came up when I went to a photographer and other vendors and comments were made, you know the ones, 'Bet you can't wait to get to those drinks' 'When the party really gets going with all that booze-- etc, etc, and I just thought, oh jeez, I will be dealing with this all day....I think when you don't drink because you just don't and when you are 'sober' it can be a little different.....I am sure it will be just fine, just wanted to put it out there and hear from the girls....Again, thank you , thank you.....

what i would do is.. just tell the Maitre'd and your Bridal Attendant that you dont drink.. they are the ones that will come up to you all night asking if you need anything... that was the case with me.. i never had to go to the bar once to get a drink..

I understand what you mean. And neither of us drink at all either. I am just going to try not to make a big deal of it, let our maitre'D know that day and ask for something else to be put in our glasses.
-as for the girl that is having something else put in everyone's glasses for the toast... I say go you.. it is your day and you should do what makes you happy. Though I am not doing this I see why you are and understand it! I went to a wedding once where there was no alcohol served at all.. Good Luck Girls!!

Re: Any sober brides?
My FH and I are sober as well.
Its funny- I always thought when I first got sober that I couldn't imagine not drinking at my wedding. But today I really don't think it is a big deal at all. I find that all I have to do is say that I don't drink and there are no questions asked.
You are the bride, its your day and I can't imagine that wouldn't bend over backwards to accommodate your wishes ;)
