Any Steven Curtis Chapman fans?

Sad news today.

Singers 5-year old daughter killed.

My mother is a huuuge fan and listens to 99.1 everyday so shes a huge Christian music fan. I just broke this news to her and she was in tears.

Its unbelievably sad, please keep this family in your prayers.

he sings christian songs but i know some girls on here are using the song he wrote for his daughters as their father/daughter dance.

i was using heartlands 'i loved her first' but i think im going to change it.

This is soo sad.

This is so sad...I don't know of him, but I could not even imagine their pain...I hope they get their son in some counseling fast because I don't know how you even begin to get past accidentally killing your little sister.

What a tragedy!!! And I LOVE THAT SONG!!
What a shame.. that poor brother!!! To have to live with that!!!

Oh my god that is horrible!!!! FH and I were just looking at his song last night 'I will be here'.. We are gonna use it for the candle lighting.

My prayers go out to his family!!!!

i know its terrible. they released a statement on their website. it says they were just hrs earlier celebrating the engagement of their daughter and were hrs away from celebrating their sons graduation. i dont know if thats the same son though. she just turned 5 ten days ago.

OMG..that's such a terrible tragedy. The poor brother...he must be going through agony.

I will definitely keep them in my prayers..

On a similar note ... my cousin accidentally ran over and killed his daughter a few years ago ON FATHER'S DAY .... so I kinda have some insight into how this family is going to feel. It's terrible, absolutely horrible.
