My wedding is in August and I am having a hard time finding makeup girls that are not too expensive.
Any suggestions?

Hey there!
I booked with Andrea from Lola*Loves*Makeup. She is a mac girl and does excellent work!! I bought in a picture because I wanted the J-lo show and Glow and she did a fantastic job at capturing what I wanted. She has a very natrual way of making you stand-out and she provides lashes for all her brides. Her trial is only $35 and takes place at her residence and $125 on the day of for which she will travel to you. I also asked her about airbrush but she said I didn't need it which saved me $$ so I really appreciated her honesty. I hope this helps
I am using someone else for myself but I booked Makeup Artistry by Gretchen Marie for my mom and bridesmaids. She is a real sweetheart and her rates are posted right on her website. Her rates are very reasonable! Check out.
Oksana in Fresh Meadows...she does amazing work and is reasonable...she does have a mininum # of girls though-I think it's 3 including the bride. She's a vendor here

I am using Kelly from Glam me up. The trial is $25 at her home and day of is $125 which includes airbrushing and lashes.

i am using the Bridal Touch by Elena. she is doing both my hair & makeup and she is not nearly as expensive as other vendors here. she is a vendor here and is in LI but will travel anywhere
Big recommendation for Jacqueline Nicole. My wedding was last Friday and every single girl looked perfect. I looked like myself but better. She's so nice and got along with my hair dresser as well. The price was definitely reasonable considering she comes to the house which took all the stress of of me. And of course you get those stress pimples that pop up the day before the wedding and they were flawlessly covered. I also had a sore nose from a cold and that was covered too. I can't say enough wonderful things about her!

I have a trial with Donna from Divine Artistry on June 5. She is having a special right now- a free trial at her home. She is willing to come to me the day of for just me and charges $175 for basic andthing more is extra.

I am using Cloe Vitale. She is amazing and she works with models and actors... She really is unbelievable and patient!! She did a 3 hour trial on me...
