I am meeting with tommy toons but would like any other recommendations. i just want a dj and an mc. I dont want all the theatrics!!!!!!

Defenitly check out Ralph his prices are great and I have used him before. FM me if you want more info, also I used Tommy Tunes and was not happy with their services at all.

If you're looking for someone without the theatrics, I recommend Music By Michael . Although I haven't gotten married yet, I can't attest to how my day went, but I've heard nothing but great things. Also, he doesn't do theatrics. He's very classy and low-key, but still wants everyone to have a great time, which is just what we were looking for. He told us the he believes our day should be all about us, and not about calling attention to the DJ and promoting the DJ's business.

We're using Tommy's Tunes. We're using Joe E. He looks like Chris from the Sopranos. I also heard that Frankie is very good. Good luck!

I'm using Keep Dancin'. I havent seen many people on here using them, but I've been to a few weddings with them and they're great! They do some 'dj's live' thing where they have people playing instruments along with the music so its a mix of band and dj. I haven't seen it myself yet, but i will next month.

We're using Music By Michael. We were so impressed....very organized, thorough, and all his music is on a computer, so he can do cool things with the songs...even take words out of songs if you want your bridal party to be announced to a certain song....Defiitely worth checking out.
