Any suggestions on leasing a car?

I want to get rid of my piece of $hit Huyndai and lease a car.

NO HUYNDAI OR KIA!

I want to spend $200 or less a month.
and I want a nice looking dependable car.

I know I am asking too much!

Any suggestions?

look into Honda Civic. Although I don't know what the payments would be.

My sister has the 2 door version and it's a cute little sporty car. and Honda is very reliable.

Another option you may want to look into is Saturn.

I've heard great things about the Honda, but it depends on which features you want. When I priced it out with ABS (for which you have to buy a whole packages) it cost a fortune!

ETA: I was just looking for cars, as you can tell, and they were seling mazas at way below MSRP, and also they're coming out with a new VW Passat for 2006, so they're practically giving away the 2005 models, and the passat is a great car, very roomy, very dependable, etc. (I'm a big VW fan, FH and I each have a VW)

Re: Any suggestions on leasing a car?

when we had to get a new car right before our wedding it came as a bit of a surprise (my suv only had 65000 miles on it!!) we hadnt budgeted in a car payment and we leased a civic. we did it in august when cars have teh best prices and our payment is under $200 a month!

ETA: i really pushed them on the price, i almost walked out 3 times and i got out of getting any of the 'dealer installed options' why should i have to pay for pinstripes that i think are UGLY?

I had a Civic a few years back and the payments were about $202 a month, I think.
My VW Beetle is $220 a month

my honda was 285/mo and that was a few years ago. Look in the paper for the specials. watch your mileage. I ended up paying out the wazoo on mileage.

What year, make and model Hyundai do you have?

You should be seeing the 2006 models coming out now or by early august of this year. Then you will be able to get a good deal on a 2005 model because the dealerships will be offering specials on the 2005's to get rid of them. You can watch the newspaper on friday and sunday, but I gotta tell you that most of the ads in the paper are basically there to just get you into the building, especially if you see a stock number in the ad - that car never existed or it was sold already.

Why dont you look into the new Chevy Cobalt. It got a great write up and its affordable.

I have a 2000 Huyndai Elantra
It is a stick.

That's funny, my DH just told me last night to look at the Chevy Cobalt.

I know that all those ad's and promotions are BULL! We were suckered into a promotion that was sent to our house that we could get a brand new huyndai for the SAME payments we were paying on our existing huyndai. Well, that was BULL!

Thanks!
Jen
