We booked it for our 9/14/02 wedding.. I was wondering if anyone had any feedback, and if anyone is having there reception there.

nope, but I've heard nothing but good things about it and the website photos are lovely. Keep us posted on how things go with them. they are definitely on my list of places to consider!

I have been a guest there....I loved it. Great grounds...food was good, loved the cocktail hour...overall I give it high marks!!! Best wishes!

Thank you I will.. I can tell you now, Warren is the person to meet with.. we did not know it, but it turns out he is the owner!!! His name is Warren Trunz, he tossed in a lot of extras for us, and we did not even ask!!! His family owns a bunch of food places, butchers, things like that.. the grounds are great, there is tons of food for the coctail hour, and the atmosphere is very cozy!! I will keep you posted!!

I have been there for a retirement party and it was great! And its very reasonable! When looking at the place we saw a ceremony from afar and it looked really nice too. We wanted to be the only party so we didn't choose it - but if you don't mind that - its a great place. I am going to a wedding there aug 4 - I will report back about it...

That is great to hear!!! We went to see the Crest Hollow too, but my uncle got married there just last year, and the only room they had available was the same room his wedding is.. so when I went to see the Swan Club, I loved the grounds, and the food choices are great.. I wanted to make sure we had a huge cocktail hour.. what room are you going to be in? We are in the Garden room, My wedding is about a month after yours, you will have to post how everything went. Have you chosen and Photographers yet?

We are getting married at the Swan CLub on August 9, 2002. Colleen, what is your date? What's funny, is that my sister is getting married there in the Garden Room this August 10th. I am in the big room, I forgot the name (the one to the left). I looked all over, but nothing compared to the place my sister was having it especially for the price so I booked it. I am a teacher and would like to get as much done this summer as possible so that I don't have to worry about it during the year (as much anyway). I booked Patken photographers, Flowers by Liz (works out of her house - very reasonable) and a band called Extreme - they were awesome! I am waiting to look at dresses until after my sister's wedding is over because we are each other's maid of honors and I am trying to keep my attention on her for now. I booked it with John Casale and I have to admit that I was a little upset that they didnt throw a lot in considering that my family is giving them a lot of business. What do you think? Maybe I should call Warren up to semi-complain?

HI THERE!! I am getting married at the swan club on 9/14/02.. we also booked the garden room, I LOVED the bigger room, but I am only planning on about 120 at the reception.. so we did not have enough people.. We booked with Warren, he was great!!! You should call and let him know that you also booked there.. is there something that you would want thrown in.. like the intermezzo.. or something.. he was great to us, he tossed stuff in and we did not even ask him too.. so I am sure that he will do something.. have you ever tried the food there.. I was wondering how it was.. there seems to be so much of it!!!! I am trying to get lots of planning done now too, just because I don't want to be pulling m hair out at the last minute if at all possible...:-) good luck to you!!!

I spoke to my sister and she booked hers with Waren last year and she didn't think that he was one of the owners. We are thinking of calling (actually I asked her to call) and speak to an owner becasue I just don't fell like they did enough for us. They threw in a carving station with 2 meats and that was it. The Glenmar Studio in Roslyn Village (516) 484-4646. I have not seen their work at all besides some albums at the Swan Club. I am going with Patken. Hope that helped!
