Any teachers out there?

Welp the time has come- I go back to the work TOMORROW! Ahh - I go back a week early because I am a guidance counselor. Summer went so fast but I had so much time to do DIY projects and finish some wedding stuff up. I am actually a little happy to go back to keep my mind occupied! It also means NEXT summer is my wedding!!!

P.S. I know non-teachers have no sympathy haha I completely understand but, it's just going to be so hard setting that alarm

I go back tomorrow too. I'm in a private school in NYC. We have work week this week but then because of all the holidays we have off Labor Day week and then officially start sept 9.
I know onottownmorning will be rough. But I don't really mind because the faster the school year starts the faster it ends and then it's weddi time !!

I work at a private school in queens. Teachers go back the Tuesday after Labor Day & classes officially start the Friday after. I so don't want to go back. Blah.

Eta: I did teach summer school so I've only had a week and a half off really. I probably would be more 'excited' (not that you can get excited about work) if I had the entire summer off. No summer school next year though!!!

Any teachers out there? - Long Island Weddings

I went back last week to set up my room and other than a meeting on Thursday, I start the Tuesday after Labor Day. I subbed all summer so I didn't get as much time off as I'd like but I couldn't deny the $. I just kept telling myself that next summer when we're in our new place and the wedding is all paid for and over I'll have the entire summer off to enjoy it

Any teachers out there? - Long Island Weddings

I went back last Wed for professional development and the kids start tomorrow! Didn't feel like I had very much of a summer though, I have another job in the summer and only had a week off!

Next summer will be the first summer I have ever taken completely off... I CANT WAIT!!!!
