Any themes for your bridal shower?

So I'm thinking of doing a Honeymoon theme for our Bridal Shower. I told my sister about it since she is helping me plan my shower. But we havent booked our HM yet..to be decided soon. lol Are you ladies thinking of having a theme at your Bridal Shower? or have you seen anything that you thought was nice? I've heard of the Sex and the City shower theme although I'm a huge fan of SATC I'm trying to come up with different ideas.

I did a wine theme for our E-Party.

Oh that is a cute theme and very lady like. lol. Just drop that inforamtion anytime in a convo with whoever you think or know is planning your shower. lol

im a very big mexican food fan. I LOVE MEXICAN FOOD!!! ..so my girls are throwing me a mexican theme bridal shower.... filled with mango margaritas and a sombero with a veil attached to the back...lol

This is a great theme for your shower! I thought about this also. Sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun!

I'm doing a cookbook theme I cant cook and everyone knows it (haha), so instead of a wishing well everyone is bringing a recipe etc. soooo excitied

I have no say over it what-so-ever.

But if I had my choice it would be martini themed. My neighbor had a shower in their yard with all high tables with pink shiny tableclothes pulled over the tables to look like Martini glasses. I loved it.

i dont know who is planning mine....im sure since my sister has the $$ she will be putting it all together. Shes very creative so it will probably be awesome. I just hope my mom can make it up to NY for it

aww..I hope she can make it up for your shower also. Both my sisters live out of state . So I know how that is.

That's a super cute idea! I could always use new recipes, and they WILL come n handy when you need them.

But seriously, since my mother isn't exactly the creative type, she'll probably do a recipe and wishing well, because that was my older sister's theme.

I have no say, but I have thrown a honeymoon shower and a southern tea party. One of my bm's had a Mexican theme for hers. I've heard of around the clock, different holidays, and around the house showers as well.
Oh and I went to 2 where we had to bring a recipe and it was put in a box for the bride.

that's an awesome idea to do a honeymoon themed shower. you can incorporate that into the centerpieces and they can be beachy stuff ..

i like some of the other ideas people posted too.

table numbers - pictures diff parts of the city
metro cards as favors
hot dogs and hot pretzels as hor dorves
seating cards can be little empire state buildings

This isn't a theme but I would love to have an outdoor shower - my mom knows about this though and hopefully she'll come through! She's always asking me which catering places have outdoor areas - I'm like MOOOOOM I'm not supposed to know about my shower!
