Any themes for your bridal shower?

So I'm thinking of doing a Honeymoon theme for our Bridal Shower. I told my sister about it since she is helping me plan my shower. But we havent booked our HM yet..to be decided soon. lol Are you ladies thinking of having a theme at your Bridal Shower? or have you seen anything that you thought was nice? I've heard of the Sex and the City shower theme although I'm a huge fan of SATC I'm trying to come up with different ideas.

LOL i told my MOH i wanted a Army wives theame but there is only so much you can do with that so we shall see

i dont think we're doin a theme... planning a wedding with a theme is enough of a hassle

I asked for a tea party theme. I'm not sure where my inspiration came from, but that's what I asked for.

I recently found out my friends are having a Breakfast at Tiffany's theme for my shower. All guests were asked to wear black and their most fabulous jewelry.

I'm doing a cookbook theme I cant cook and everyone knows it (haha), so instead of a wishing well everyone is bringing a recipe etc. soooo excitied

That's a super cute idea! I could always use new recipes, and they WILL come n handy when you need them.

I told my MOH I want recipe cards. I love them. Plus I want a pre-filled out card sent to FMIL with the title of the recipe I want from her, her blue cheese stuffed mushrooms because she will NOT give up the recipe. It makes me crazy. Actually she won't give any of her son's girlfriends the recipes for their favorite dishes. I think she thinks the recipes keep them coming home or something. So thats going to be my attempt at getting it.
