Any vendors that you REALLY wanted, but could't have?
Because they were too expensive, were booked on your date, in-laws dissaproved, etc.? How did it work out?
I thought it might be an interesting topic
I really wanted The Original Faze 4 Band, but when I met with the owner (who's actually in the band too) and he told me the price, FH and I actually laughed. We went with another Faze 4 band (Sound Image) who I am SUPER excited about and I'm really happy we booked with them, but The Original was amazing and who I would have picked if I could.
They were booked on my day anyway in the end
Anyone have any vendors they wanted, but in the end couldn't?

..... Since I have an All inclusive package all of my vendors are into it alredy... and I never Look into other vendors... So I am ok now with waht i have...
Maybe just change the video but he has goten a lot bette....

i would have loved to have pennylane do my video but just too expensive
also, probably would have went with the more expensive RH if we had more money
other than that, i have no regrets

I wanted to book Pennylane - but DH shot that down real quick.
BUT I am so happy with my wedding video so I dont care anymore. Plus my DH did not even want a video and now he says 'what was I thinking, this is better than I ever imagined.' MEN

and yes, i priced out the original faze 4 as well - and fell out of my chair
we booked code bleu instead but i love them anyway

The only thing I really wanted at first and ended up not getting was a band. FH really, really wanted a dj so I compromised with a dj and live elements. I'm happy with that decision, but I guess if money was no matter, I'd do dj AND band.

We really wanted an RH that was closer to Queens, on the beach, etc. But it just couldn't work out because our minimum was so low and we didn't have an endless budget.
Also would have used Cake Boss for our cake

i really wanted the Royalton as a hall b/c they had beautiful grounds but that was too much $ - in the end, I'm VERY happy w/ our choice but they have been amazing and we're getting so much for our $$$. i could not have asked for a better and more accomodating RH!

Pennylane!! I loved their work but their prices were ...almost triple of what I'm paying now...I'm sure they're worth every penny, but I couldn't justify the expense.
Also, FH wanted Oheka if money wasn't an issue....mind you we've never even been there

I really wanted to use Joshua Dwain Photography for our pictures but he was just too expensive! I also wanted to have a full wedding planner and wanted to use erganic design. The owner is wonderful but that was also out of my budget.

i really wanted this local blues band to play during cocktail hour and the price was right, but because they dont have insurance the hall wont let them play

I would have booked Cake Alchemy for my cake ... I would have booked a much higher end photographer ... I would have booked OrangeFilms for video ... I would have booked bigger limos (we're squeezing right now) ... I would have hired an event planner ...
The list goes on, but alas, I got that champagne taste on a boxed wine budget, haha

I would have booked oksana for makeup but she booked :( we got along great when she did my bpics makeup.
I would have loved a pennylane video as well

And pennylane... whatever on that. kinda feel like they're not even worth the price anymore because so many new people are just as good

even though I love my rh, I probably would have gone with a more expensive one like Vanderbilt. All in all though I'm glad we didn't go over the top for our rh because we have used the extra money on other things we really wanted(like our photographer!)
