Re: Any Vintage style weddings?
We are! Our 'theme' i guess you could say is, Southern Vintage' We're having Mason Jar centerpieces with loose looking wildflowers. Were also having a bunch of vintage touches like an old typewriter so everyone can type us a message for our guest book. Were also going to use a vintage suitcase for our card box... stuff like that. Our flowers are also going to be in really soft pastel colors. stuff like that. I have a ton of tiny details i could go on and on about haha
Are you doing a vintage wedding? I would love to talk to another bride who's going for the same look!

Re: Any Vintage style weddings?
We're using a birdcage for a card box, light pinks, whites, and ivories, with a touch of purple mixed in. We have garden roses and the dresses will by flowy for the bridesmaids. The groomsmen will hopefully have classic tux's as long as they aren't too hot.

I'm having the girls wear flowy dresses too! I was thinking about getting them something for their hair too like a big flower or feather.

Re: Any Vintage style weddings?
i am doing a vintage glam with 1930's feel. I am making all my paper items out of this textured paper with vintage patterns on the back. i DIY'd my save the dates with tea-stained tags and hand stamps..its sort of hard to explain them. i am using jewel tones of purple, green, and blue for my colors and each BMs dress will be one of those colors and also flowing! my RH is a mansion and i am putting pics of my fam in antique picture frames on all the mantels...so many little things :) oh and I am tying it all together with a skeleton key theme- on all my paper work, in the centerpieces and bok, possible for my DOJ, and BM DOJ, not sure where else, but prolly more places

All of you are awesome! Have you gone on Stylemepretty.com? You would love it! They have great ideas there. I am also doing a vintage style wedding. I am using mason jars and garden flowers, old books on the tables, vintage guestbook, oil and vinegar rustic vintage bottles as favors, tea cups filled with flowers on tables, as well as old food cans for flower vases. Oh and moss made pillow and baskets for the litte ones. ETSY is pretty good with that stuff. I am sure you al lare familiar with ETSY and Stylemepretty.com but if not, i suggest you go to those sites! Style me pretty has awesome ideas.

Fox Hallow is so pretty!! were getting married at the Riviera. We chose it because we really wanted a barn but their were lots of issues with that..I love how the main room of the Riviera has the high ceilings and beams kind of like a barn!

Re: Any Vintage style weddings?
I'm bumping this because I'm a vintage style wedding too!!! Let's all post our pics of 'vintage stuff' as we get it! I have to take pics of some of the stuff I ordered and then put it up here, some of the stuff in my inspiration album I already purchased...yahhh I love that there are other vintage style wedding ladies on here, I've felt like a mad scientist thinking all of these details up in my head.
