Any walk-in stores for bridal gowns?

Good morning brides--TGIF!!!!
I would like to get an idea about wedding dresses, just browsing only. Are any stores open to allowing you just to look around?? I hear that most large or well-known places require an appt. Any ideas??? TIA!!!!

(I am running out the door to work, so I may not respond right away if you reply...but I will check this soon :) I really appreciate your help!!!!!!!!! ):)

Bridal Suite of Centereach and Huntington don't require appts. But someone will be helping you pick them out and try them on.

most places i went too let me just go in and walk around. if i wanted to try something thats when i had a sales person with me. Seemed like weekends is more when they wanted appts!

I don't know where you're located, but Helen's Bridal in Commack let me look around and try on about 6 dresses without an appt.

David's Bridal is also good to just walk around and get some ideas.

I got my Dress at Macy's in Manhasset and I am pretty sure you need an appointment there.

RKBridal has a huge selction. You can browse around. However, to try on gowns you have to sign in. The waiting time is not long on weekdays, but on weekends I've had to wait about an hour.

I went to David's Bridal in Queens. Their customer service was bad. they realled turned me off & I never went back.

I walked into Macy's Bridal in Smithaven on a Sunday without an appointment....don't know if the Manhasset one is different with appointments though!
