Any Watermill Brides out there

My date is coming up and I'm getting excited. Anyone have pics or things to say. They're supposed to call me soon to go over our menu. I'm looking into how much it would cost to extend the party, being it ends at 6:30. We're getting married in the small room upstairs, Bostonian, so I don't think that should be a problem. Of course, it will then be a cash bar

Are you having a small wedding??? i'm trying to figure out which room it can be. Vanderbilt, maybe. The food is excellent and so is the service. They really treat you like royalty. You should check out one of their showcases. They really do a nice job. Have you worked w/Samantha yet? She's such a doll.

I am a WM bride--getting married Nov 4th, 2005 in the Vanderbuilt room--I can't wait. Samantha is a doll but I wouldn't recommend getting anything through her b/c she charges more than other places--JMO at least with invitations. I would definitely go to a showcase too they have some food set up and the chocolate fountain--so yummy. The Astor room is where I am having my cocktail hour & sits I think 175 for dinner--but that is w/ 14 people at a table & I think in my opinion it is cramped. Anyway they might let you extend it but I found a problem when I wanted my reception at 8 b/c there is a bride that needs my cocktail hour room for her reception.

Went to a wedding there this past weekend, and everything was beautiful. The WM really did a nice job and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

I'm sure all of your weddings will be spectacular.

I got married there and it was great; we had our reception in the Astor but our CH was in the Bostonian. My review and some pics are in my community photo album under 'Lanabean.' I had 166 people including us and it was perfect!!! Everyone raved about the room and food and we had elegant CPs and stuff....I loved it. :) Best of luck.

Your pictures are beautiful. Our reception is actually in the Bostonian as we're only having about 70 people. I wish I could have it in one of the bigger rooms, but our list is too small. This room will be nice for a reception, right???

Yeah, if you have pics of the Bostonian room, that would be great. I never hear of anyone having their reception in this room. I just hope it will be nice. Our guest list is only of 70 people, so we had no choice and I wanted to get married at the Watermill. I just want it to be beautiful and nice.

We had our cocktail hour in that room - but he pictures aren't that great there...let me see what i can find for you....
Here are all of my pictures.....
We got married downstairs, had the cocktail hour in the smaller upstairs room and had the reception in the upstairs bigger room.
And we took a lot of pictures on the grounds outside

Wow, your pics are beautiful. You looked beautiful. I felt like I was at your wedding. You were right, it's kinda hard to see the Bostonian Room where your cocktail hour was. I must say it looked dark, but I thought it had windows in the room. I've haven't seen the room in a while and I can't remember exactly what it looks like...hahah. Thanks for the pics

I am a Watermill Bride too.. Hi ladies!!! I am getting married on November 4th, 2005. My reception is in the Astor Room upstairs and I am so excited. The Astor room is a beautiful room that fits 185 guests which is just right for us. We love the cozy, romantic feel it has. Chris the chef is amazing! My fiance and I met at the Watermill when the Scotto Bros first took it over. We both worked there for a while when we were teenagers. So when we got engaged it was a given that we would have our reception there. Poetic Justice! If you have any questions about the Watermill I will be happy to answer them. I know that place 'inside & out'! LOL

I'm getting married at the Watermill on 11/11 and I am psyched! We are having the ceremony there, too. We are in the Vanderbilt Room.

I definitely recommend going to one of the showcases, too. The chocolate fountain is awesome...my mom and I were loving it! Unfortunately, I think it is out of our budget, but it was fun to try it anyway.

I am getting married there as well. 3 months 4 Weeks 1 day!!!!!!!!!! I am getting married in the Vand I the cocktail in the Mill (Which is tiny) and the reception in the Bostonian as well. We have about 65 people. I wish they had smaller tables. I just hope about 10 people say they cant make it so it fits 10 people to a table. But I heard nothing but raves. A lot of people I work with got married there.
