My date is coming up and I'm getting excited. Anyone have pics or things to say. They're supposed to call me soon to go over our menu. I'm looking into how much it would cost to extend the party, being it ends at 6:30. We're getting married in the small room upstairs, Bostonian, so I don't think that should be a problem. Of course, it will then be a cash bar

I am getting married there as well. 3 months 4 Weeks 1 day!!!!!!!!!! I am getting married in the Vand I the cocktail in the Mill (Which is tiny) and the reception in the Bostonian as well. We have about 65 people. I wish they had smaller tables. I just hope about 10 people say they cant make it so it fits 10 people to a table. But I heard nothing but raves. A lot of people I work with got married there.
Hey, am I finally speaking with someone who's having their reception in the Bostonian Room? I'm so excited too. I'll be able to tell you how it went as I'll be there 2 weeks from tomorrow, YIKES !! I know that their tables vary according to seats. The room has 6 tables. Like the 1st, 3rd, 5th (not exactly these tables) would seat up to 14 and then say the 2nd, 4th and 6th could seat 12 and then there's one table that will seat up to 16. They seem more than happy to accommodate any requests that you might have. Good Luck.

I have no idea why they say they can fit up to 80 guests or so. I don't see it. Well good luck to you as well. I so cant wait. Has it been hell for you too or is it just me?

I agree with you on the 80 guest issue too, but they say it has been done and can be done. Luckily more people than I thought responded no so we're down to about 60 people, which I think will be perfect. Yes, it has been hell for me. I've been having lots of problems with FH's family. They have been just so difficult. It's sad because a part of us just wants this day to come and be over already because of this. Some people just don't know how to keep their traps shut and let us be, you know. But hey, life goes on. I keep telling FH to look forward to our honeymoon in Aruba If you have any questions, let me know. I've already picked out my menu and all that other stuff. I'd be more than happy to give you a heads up on some things.

We'll be there from 6/19-6/26. I can't wait to go. The timing isn't the greatest right now down there due that that missing girl. I hope they find something out. I feel so sorry for her family. However, for us, the timing couldn't be better. We've been under so much stress that this vacation is surely needed and deserved. Talk to you when I return.

I am not going, but I went to the one in March right after I got engaged and it was fun! You get to eat the cocktail hour food and see sample flowers and limos...

Re: Any Watermill Brides out there
It was a hard choice for us between the Watermill and North Ritz Club. I loved the watermill. The only reason we went with NRC was because I wanted it to be just our party otherwise we would've went with the watermill. They were so accomodating. I asked if I could see their kitchen and they took me back there while cooking for another party and introduced me to the head chef. Good Luck Im sure it will be wonderful.

Re: Any Watermill Brides out there
I just got married there this past weekend!! My reception was in the Vanderbilt room downstairs. Tha place looked awesome, the staff was on top of everything and everyone said the food was really good (I had barely any time to eat!) I highly recommend the Viennese hour, it was awsome and people were raving about it. They present it in the dark with sparklers and everything! Anyone having their reception there will not be disappointed! Good luck everyone
