My plans are moving along - still got lots to do in the middle of Christmas and everything, but we'll get there!
We loved Westbury Manor - that was our #2 choice! You'll love it!

Re: Any Westbury Manor Brides
Hi Regina,Congratulations! Now the fun really begins!!
We had our reception at the Westbury Manor last month. We truly had the day of our dreams, and a lot of that was due to the people at the WM. Everyone we dealt with went above and beyond the call of duty...our family and friends are still talking about what a wonderful time they had celebrating with us.
We ended up using all house vendors...but not intentionally: Cassarino for photos, Arcadia for band, Annabelle at Distinctive Designs for flowers, Royalty for limos.
I'll be glad to answer any questions-just post or FM me. Also, do a search for Westbury Manor-lots in the archives.
Don't worry about a thing with the WM. They know how to throw a great party!
Best wishes with your planning!!

Re: Any Westbury Manor Brides
Hi! I just booked the Westbury Manor a few weeks ago for June 19, 2004!! I am so excited!! I just fell in love with the place as I am sure you did. Haven't really started looking at anything else. Plan on doing so on my two weeks off from work!! Congrats!! And it is so nice to hear from the other WM brides out there!!

Re: Any Westbury Manor Brides
Wrong guy for me too, I got Nick, short for Nickolai. All their photogrpahers are talented, especially if its Cassarino's son, I bet very well trained.
Did you pick him from his proofs?

Re: Any Westbury Manor Brides
Out of the three or four albums that we saw, Mickey's were the best. Seemed he was better at getting everyone focused in the same place (looking in the right direction). Something my FI caught on to, glad he came with me, because it was a suddle difference I didn't notice first but after I looked through the photos again....he just was able to capture the moment better. If that makes any sense...

Re: Any Westbury Manor Brides
I looked at several photographer:Stewart Triart-I think that is what they were called. Went to them first, very expensive. But it was the most informative meeting..pretty much explained the difference in photographic styles, etc. But again very expensive and you do not get your negatives. Beautiful pictures thourh.
North Shore Studio- pictures were not any better then what I could have taken. If I booked with them, the photographer was going to come with out an assistant. Don't know who was going to help w. lighting....my dad got remarried and used them and after we spoke with a few photographers wasn't too impressed either.
Cassarino- was the third photographer studio that day and was just impressed with their professionalism as well as them being layed back. Which suits my personality...and there pictures were beautiful (turns out two friends of mine who are getting married soon are also using them)
Proline- there pictures were nice, but felt Cassarino was better. Plus the guy bad mouthed the other two house vendors...not too cool.
The last one I saw was in Queens..I forget there name. But I pretty much knew I was going to use Cassarino when I went, just went because a girlfriend of mine recommend them and I didn't wnat to insult her by not looking at them.
