Any brides in the Westchester area? I'm getting married in Oct. 05 (crossing fingers) we're having SUCH a hard time finding a place. Does anyone know of any good places that are not far from Lower Westchester?

My friend just booked dolce house in tarrytown...she also looked at the castle at tappan hill and the bronx botanical gardens

I live lower westchester Try the Surf Club in New Rochelle that place is lovely.

Glenn Island in New Rochelle, that place looks nice. There is also the VIP club, but I hear it is very pricey.

There are quite a few places depending on your budget... Tappan Hill, the Castle in Tarrytown, Surf Club, VIP, Fountainhead, Glen Island, Green Tree Country Club. There is a whole row of them in New Rochelle. We visited a few of them.

I just went to the Fountainhead on Saturday for my bosses son's bar mitsvah and it was excellent! They do more than one event at a time, but we would never have known that there was another party there, as everything was kept to two confined areas. The cocktail hour, food, service - everything was great!

I'm getting married at Glen Island Harbour Club but also looked at Fountainhead, VIP, Greentree and some other place I'm blanking on right now. Definitely check out Glen Island. Good luck!

I am getting married at the Surf Club. I went to all of the places there. VIP, GreebTree, Beckwith Ponte. But the food at the Surf Club was great and the view was amazing so we chose Surf Club. I also like the VIP very much.
