I know there are not many of us, but I would like to get a thread going. I need some help with vendors! Any takers?

Re: Any Westchester brides out there?
I agree about looking good! I really want to use some reputable, someone who comes highly recommended. I contacted Sachiko for availability since I heard so many good things about her. I'm waiting to hear back from her. I also contacted Oksana too but she doesn't travel to New Rochelle! Will keep you updated if I find someone....

Westchester bride here! I'm getting married at the Colonial Mansion in White Plains and using a combo of Westchester and NYC vendors.
I live in White Plains!!! My ceremony is in White Plains but the reception will be in Long Island so I still consider myself as a Westchester bride
I had my Sweet 16 party at the Colonial Mansion. It's beautiful! We had so much fun and the staff were so nice.

Re: Any Westchester brides out there?
went to house of botticelli today. all in all it was a decent experience. they weren't total snobs. the person who helped me was nice enough. i was looking for mermaid style dresses and i guess they don't seem to have much in that style. so, she showed me a lot of other dresses. i still haven't found 'the one' yet. i guess i'll just have to keep looking. be prepared though, dresses are expensive there.

I actually bought my dress in Stamford, CT. The Bridal Suite. She had a lot of samples to try on. She also had a lot of dresses that they call 'fit and flair' (very much like mermaid style'. Her prices are very reasonable. Maybe you should give her a try.

Thanks for your CP pic and info! I will probably be using Arcadia as well. Do you think it's too early to start making appointments with them?
