We are getting married on May 11, 2007 - hey, have any of you called over there lately?? Stephan is now gone - supposedly I will be meeting with Margaret next Sat...I'm really starting to get nervous!! This will be the third banquet manager that we have spoken to in 6 months!! Has anyone out there spoke with Margaret yet??

I met Margaret at the showcase they had a couple of weeks ago and I gotta tell you she made me feel at ease. She really made my FH and I calm down b/c I felt the same way. She was like I want to meet with you in the summer to get to know you better to know what is important to you. We'll do a food tasting too in around 3-4 months before...blahblahblah, but basically she knew what she was talking about and she really re-sold the place again! Although everytime I walk in there I fall in love with it all over again! HTH! Good Luck!

I live in Brooklyn, so my FH and I are using a DJ (highly recommend him!!) and a photographer from Brooklyn (photos and video D'Elegance). Our florist is Fleurs De Florissima (in Huntington) and we're doing the ceremony and everything at the Woodlands, so there is no need for limos. All of my OOT guests as well and my FH and I are staying at the Four Points by Sheraton (I HIGHLY recommend them if you need a hotel!!) Nicole the catering manager is extremely helpful!! Other than that, I just really hope that I will be put at ease just as you were by Margaret!! With only two months left...I'm getting a little (ok a lot) nervous!!

I am I am!!! 6/24/07-I just did the menu w/ Margaret yesterday! I was really nervous too about all of the changes-but I got to tell you that Margaret seems really efficient and i like her a lot more than Stefan. I am getting really excited!

I should have posted this last Saturday, but this week has been a crazy one for me...my FH and I met with Margaret last Saturday and all I can say is that she is AMAZING!! After all of the craziness and different banquet managers, etc. - she was a breath of fresh air!! She sat down with my FH and I and we went over each part of our contract, she paid attention to every detail and could not have been nicer!! With less than two months until our wedding, I feel like a HUGE weight has been lifted off of my shoulder because she will definitely make sure that everything goes just the way that we want it
Thank you Margaret!!! I'm SOOOOOO happy that we booked with the Woodlands!!!
