A friend of mine had a bad fall at his workplace and broke his leg (because they didn't shovel this winter and he fell in the snow, and layed there for several hours before the ambulance came). He had to have surgery and had a rod in his leg and pins, which will be there forever. He was out of work for about 4 months.
He and his wife are hoping that their settlement will be big enough to put a down payment on a house... but I was just wondering if anyone knows what kind of settlement he might get? Their lawyer is being vague and I'm afraid my friend is putting too much faith in getting a HUGE settlement and might be in for a big disappointment if it isn't very much.
Thank you for your help!

Re: Any workman's comp lawyers?
Tell your friend he should consult another lawyer, I can give you a name of a good one that did a great job on a case for me.
