Technically, there were 2 before.
BUT one was the original, from waaaay back in the 60s with Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.
The more recent one was a remake of the original, this time with George Clooney & Brad Pitt , Matt Damon, Julia Roberts.
Oceans 12 is the follow up to that remake
I loved Oceans 11 - but I'll see if DH feels like going to see Oceans 12 (I think he'd probably rather go see a bunch of other things rather than my swooning over George & Brad )

We're going! not sure opening night, but we both loved the (remake) first one. I saw the original, didn't like it as much.
