I 'won' a few prizes from Chef world b/c I attended a bridal showcase. I have to sit through a 90min presentation in order to claim my prizes.
I know they are probably pushy and there hAS to be catch...
Anyone have experience with this? Too good to be true??
THANKS!!

Re: anybody do this?
I 'won' too but i just figured it has to be a scam somehow and turned it down. I have a lot more fun things in mind if me and FH happen to have 90 minutes to hang out together then go listen to a sales person ramble. JMO!

Re: anybody do this?
Silly us 'WON' too. And unfortunately we went to the showcase at a nearby hotel. After two hours with (pardon the insult) an idiotic salesman we walked out very disappointed. All we 'WON' is a voucher for two/three free nights at certain hotels. After we got there it was explained to us that you have to mail the voucher in with a $100.00 deposit before making your reservations. The salesman also trys to get you to buy VERY expensive cooking ware and china ware that you're never even heard of. My advice is to skip it. Not really worth the time. SORRY!

Re: anybody do this?
I 'won' one of those too when I first got engaged.
I went as far as making the appointment and I was going to show up but then I Googled it and people said they did get there hotel stay but it wasn't worth all the time and effort it took to get the hotel stay.
