anybody else hate their job?

but how would you start a new job needing so much time off next year for a wedding???

I would worry about that after finding the new job. Just be honest when you get hired...tell them exact dates, and the time you will need off for the wedding. I'm sure they will understand.

I cant say I hate my job, however I would love to have a new one! I am beginning to HATE my commute to NYC.
But my FI and I are planning a wedding and buying a house so it would be too much to actively look for a new job too. Plus there is the vacation issue. But then yesterday I was thinking about it and if we dont get back from our HM until mid july how can I start looking for a new job? I cant take 2 weeks and then start calling in sick 2 weeks later.....So I dont know what I am going to do! Its all so annoying!

I am looking now and I figure is something great comes along I will jump at it and just be honest with them that I am gettign married next year so I will need to take some tiem off. Thats all you can do besides postpone your HM and I am not sure my FH would be too willing to do that!

I know it can bring you down when you think about it. My suggestion would be to suck it up till you wedding and then if you still feel that way- Quit!

I don't hate my job but i think it is overwhelming sometimes to work and plan a wedding on a budget. It gets stressful sometimes but you always have to think of the good things that come out of it- YOU'RE OWN WEDDING!

You still have like a year before your wedding. That's enough time to put in at a job and be able to take time off as your wedding nears.
But I wouldn't wait too long if you really are thinking of changing jobs. I'd start looking now.

I'm going to FM you tonight but FSIL got a new job like 8 months before her wedding (which is next month). As long as you're honest with them up front, most employers will work with you depending on how you accumulate vacation time. If you seriously HATE your job, it's only going to stress you out more when you're stressing over the details of the wedding as it gets closer. So I say start looking!
