We got a notice in our mailboxes that some group is going to be coming around collecting clothing donations on Wednesday...so I'm going through my closet and drawers.
I'm trying to figure out what was going on that I have like 15 pairs of black shoes???? I mean am I color blind or something?????

I donated 5 lawn bags last weekend! I swear I donated 3 in the fall! Crazy how quickly it piles up.

I was planning on cleaning out my clothes this weekend. Every time I go to buy shoes I end up with a black pair. My FH thinks I have a black shoe addiction.

I always have such a hard time giving up my clothes even when I don't wear them....I'm crazy!!! My closet looks like it's going to explode soon. I usually donate my clothes to the homeless shelters in Manhattan....maybe i'll do it after easter

A girl in my dept works a second job and someone at that job house burnt down. I gave her a huge bag of clothes. And my doggies gave her dogs a dog toy and some treats bc they smelled the smoke and woke her up!

oh wow! Thats amazing about the dogs- thank god huh? That was really great of you about giving her the clothes...
I try to throw out anything I haven't worn for a year... and believe me, it adds up! But, there will be alot less shopping now that we are counting pennies (literally in a Poland Spring container) for the wedding!
I am however donating 3 big bags (so far) to the company with the yellow bags that come pick it up @ 7am...

I really need to do this, who comes to your house and picks it up. I usually drop it in the goodwill bin at Bestbuy

I go through my clothes at least once every other month and donate stuff. I have to do REAL Spring cleaning though - with all the craziness surrounding the engagement party this weekend I haven't had a real chance to clean the house!
