Anybody find it difficult to choose a wedding ring?
FH and i went today...he found one in seriously 2 minutes. And me, well 2 hours later I was still undecided. I feel like the ones they had there were pretty, but not exactly what I wanted. I LOVE my e-ring and feel like it will be hard to find a wedding band that compares to it. We went to the store he got my diamond from and they were sooo nice and helpful. We're probably going to have it custom made by them but I'm worried I won't love it. I feel like I'm being crazy. Did anybody else have this problem or am I just a Looney toon?

I'm having the same problem! I can't even narrow it down to the type of band I want. There is an eternity band that matches my e-ring, but I feel like it will be too small if I wear it alone and I don't want to wear my E-ring everyday (well at work anyway). I really like the celtic rings and I think it would be cool to have matching bands, but I just can't narrow it down. It seems like one of the more important decisions so I guess it's not all that weird that it's a hard one

It took me awhile to find one that I loved, you'll find it, just shop around to different stores and try on lots of different styles.

I had that problem too, I found something wrong with everything. And I had never thought about what I wanted in a ring so I was totally winging it.
What I finally did was look on a bunch of websites to get a feel of what I wanted. When I saw something I really liked, printed the pictures, brought them to three jewelers and asked them for prices. The one who gave us the lowest price just so happened to be recommended from a friend so we went with him.
I thought custom rings were a little scary because you don't know their level of skill beforhand but he had a ton of custom pieces that were very intricate and nice.
Good luck!

my e-ring is a 5 stone and i knew we would have trouble finding a ring to fit flush against it and thats what i wanted...so, we ended up ordering ours from a jeweler we've used before at the flea market (james at ideal jewelry). he actually reset my engagemet ring for me after my fh got it for me in all yellow18K from a jeweler in the city...it was too soft and stones were lost, so he set it in white 14k for setting with yellow 18k for the band. i trust he will do a great job with my wedding band which he is currently working on...process takes 2 weeks, i should get it next weekend, cpst me $1000, so worth it.

Yeah i'm right there with you girls. I have a princess cut middle stone with trillions on the side and my ring sits really really low. Well everything i've tried (and i've gone to about 6 jewelry stores) just doesn't look right. Nothing will be able to sit flush with my e-ring.
So basically what i'm going to do i think is... get a plain band to go with my e-ring and then get the ring i really want (an eternity band) to wear on my right hand. So thats what i might end up doing. We'll see.

I'm having a tough time too. I really liked the ring in my chat pic, but when I saw it in person it looked totally different. I can have it custom made more to my liking I guess, but I am too worried that I won't like the finished product. So...I have to keep shopping around. It's frustrating; good luck to you!

i am having a really hard time too. and i have less than a month to go... so what i have decided to do is to just get a plain white gold band, and wait until after the wedding when i have more time to decide... i just dont see myself making up my mind in one month....

I had a hard time choosing something too. I know that the jewler knows what looks great and he helped me out a lot with it.

Re: Anybody find it difficult to choose a wedding ring?
Went to Fortunoff today and am still not thirilled with anything. I think it's because my e-ring setting is high, which I LOVE but th ewedding bands look weird with it. More searching still to come!
