Bring your clothing donations to any of the Society's Thrift Stores or clothing bins. To find the location of the nearest clothing bin, call the Central Council at (516) 822-3132.
To arrange for a furniture pickup, call (516) 746-8250 for Nassau County residents and 1-800-884-(SVDP) 7837 for Suffolk County residents.
To arrange for a car or boat pickup, call 1-800-884-7837. top
The Society's drivers give receipts when they pick up furniture, used cars or boats. When clothing is donated at the Thrift Store clothing bins, one of the salespeople in the store will give you a receipt. If you donate clothing in a parking lot bin, send a letter to the Society's main office at 249 Broadway, Bethpage, NY 11714. Include the date, location, and number of bags of clothing. The main office will return an acknowledgment that is acceptable for tax purposes.

Re: Anybody know the number for
Thanks Laurie! Do they accept household items too.. (ie Toaster, dishes, etc.)????
I think so. Do you get those thinttle pink paper's shoved in your door for donations? We do in Nassau and in QUeens also. I'll see if I could find another number for you to call for PU. But I think they take just about everything that is in good condition.
