Re: Anybody read Jodi Picoult?
My sister is reading it. She doesn't read for pleasure at all, she loves it.
I am not a fan of the author. I wish I could getinto her books!

Some of them are better than others. Some take too long to get into the story and are a bit wordy.

I'm not a fan of her. I've read only about 4 books by her Sister's Keeper, The Pact, the Tenth Circle, and one other one.
All bombs except Keeper. That one's a keeper.

Reading it now ... I am about 3/4 through it... and I was reading it today while I was on the treadmill at the gym and my eyes teared up AT THE GYM. I probably looked like a friggin idiot. (I am getting my period any day now ... )

I have been a mess this week. A big mess crying at the last 10 sappy minutes of TV shows I didn't even WATCH, that kind of a mess.

Re: Anybody read Jodi Picoult?
I loved The Pact. I also read something else by her, can't remember the name of it, about a woman who was abducted by her father when she was kid. DIdnt like that one as much. Looking forward to Nineteen Minutes though.

Re: Anybody read Jodi Picoult?
I read My Sister's Keeper. I think I'm the only person that didn't cry! I mean it was sad, but I guess I just don't tear up easily - plus my friend told me right before reading it 'omg, it's the saddest thing ever'. So once she said that, I was like forget it, now I know to expect something sad so it's not going to have the same effect on me.
