I don't even know what it's for....but my sister RAVES!

I keep hearing about how wonderful they are, but I don't have one.

If anyone has any recipes for them, I'd love to see. Maybe it'll inspire me to buy one.

I have used it few times, and like it. I have cooked a roast and corned beef in it

My MIL always tells me that you can put something in in the morning and then leave on low all day and when u get home after work it is done!

I do it alot & we love it!

I put in potroast or corned beef with potatoes, carrots, gravy (for potroast), seasonings and some onions and at night its all done. My crock shuts off, but keeps it warms after the cooking is done.

I havent used mine yet either. I am hoping to use it sometime in the fall/winter. I need some good recipes though.

I love my crock pot. But based on my fear of fire phobia, I don't leave it on while I am not home. Even though it has an automatic shut off.

I cook chicken recipes in it alot. The chicken comes out so tender and I always use some sort of marinade sauce in with it. Delicious..

I have a recipe book specifically for crock pots. Love it. Worth the money for me.

I dont even own one or used one but wa srealyl 'obsessed' and sorta still am with them and bought 2 cookbooks last year in desire!
However still have not! I guess I can put it on my registry!!

We use it for meatballs and sauce and made a yummy stew too. Haven't used it recently - too hot for a big heavy meal.

I LOVE my crock pot! I haven't really used it this summer but used it a lot in the fall/winter. Pot roast or pork roast comes out fantastic. I don't have my recipes with me but I'll post some tomorrow, they are super easy. Its great for Sunday dinners too, put some things in the crock pot early in the morning, run errands, etc. and dinner is ready without having to go to any trouble later. FH and I will do leftovers during the week, its an easy meal after getting home from work.

They are great for thick stews in the winter. My mom also makes these weird meatballs - the sauce is made with grape jelly (and something else, I forget what exactly, I think some sort of chili mix) and they are soooo good. Sort of like sweet & sour meatballs.

We LOVE our crock pot.

I make chilli in it and it comes out great. we also made soups, stews and pot roast.

Its the best thing next to the ice cream maker we have and use all the time

You will love it! After reading this post yesterday I was so inspired to pull out my crock pot and fire it up. I have this cooking at home right now (while I'm at work). I've never tried it before but it sounded good!

Slow Cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu

4 Boneless chicken breasts
1 can Golden mushroom soup
1/2 soup can water
1/4 cup Dry sherry or white wine
4 Slices ham
4 Slices swiss cheese

Pound chicken breasts thin. Place 1 slice each of ham and cheese on each breast half Roll up and place into bottom of crockpot. To one can golden mushroom soup add 1/2 can water and 1/4 cup of dry sherry. Mix well and pour over chicken in crockpot. cook on low for 8 hours. Serve over rice or noodles.

You can't go wronge with it.
I prep the night beore and put in a bowl in fridge, then throw it together in AM, at night have dinner, one pot clean up!!!

I love making chicken chili (chicken tenders (they get so tender), and chili ingredients, SO GOOD!!!
