Ever have a breakdown while planning their weddings? FH and I bought a house in September and It just seems like we are paying out money more than it comes in. Between the mortgage, house bills, paying for wedding stuff...Sometimes I wonder if we're going to be able to do it all. Im lucky enough to have my parents help us with the reception but FH and I want to make the deposits on our own (as long as we can). Im planning on alot of DIY to save some money but Im just worried.
Anyone else feel the same or felt the same that can calm me down??

Yep, I think I cried every night for the first 2 weeks bc of feeling like money was being RIPPED out of my pockets....It gets better...although I am sure the new house makes it even more of a strain....you will be fine, just know that if you need to have a nervous breakdown, we are all here for you!

yeah i had a few breakdowns worrying about money, then it all just turns out ok in the end.
it will be fine. just remember to breathe.

oh yeah, i've lost my marbles a few times...later i laugh at it...but this is a very stressful time in our lives even though it's a happy time.

I think I had one big breakdown. I know how you feel. We bought our house just as we got engaged, so we were paying a mortgage as well. I still couldn't tell you how we did it, but we did.
Don't feel bad, everyone freaks out at one point or another. It's a really stressful time, just take each day one at a time.

YES! FH hates it once a month when I sit down to pay my bills....he knows it will end in tears! We are in the same boat...new house and upcoming wedding. It can drive you bonkers!

I think I am having a breakdown these last few days...going to hang out with my MOH tonight I know she will cheer me up and put some logic into my brain...

Yes when we first got engaged we planned to have two wedding one in the UK and one in Oz...it was seriously killing us arguing, stress etc In the end we ended up getting married in a neutral city like NY...and it was very low key...we were happy with it... Perhaps we will throw 2 seperate parties in both countries at a later stage..so the stress will begin all over again...

Don't worry your not alone.My dad is paying my reception and it is still hard to keep up with extras and your own bills. DIY is the way to go on some stuff.!!
