Anyone.....

are any of you ladies going to wear those ballerina slippers at the reception. I was thinking about it but my FH is so much taller than me......if I kick off the healed shoes........will the reception picks look silly????

I know I thought of that too......I am hoping that after a few drinks................I won't even feel my feet ha ha ha ha ha

maybe just more comfy shoes...like white flip flops or something...

but i love my shoes and i LOVE being tall...and i'm 5'10 w/o heels!! i don't know, i just like the feeling of being 6'!! good thing FH is 6'3!

haha it really does, but also worried about the dress really dragging, i think when you alter it you have heels on to make sure exactly how it will come with the shoes on.

FH is 6'2 - - - -THE SHOES ARE STAYING ON

Well, I am 4'11'' and FH is just about 6' sooo, he is ALWAYS taller than me, heels or no heels. He LOVES that I'm tiny and I eat it up! I will not wear shoes higher than about 2' anyway since my feet kill in heels (thanks Ma for the W-I-D-E dogs!). I was considering ballet slippers just in case the mighty 2 inchers hurt!

i am getting those big white foam flip flops that have a wedge heel - so my dress doesnt drag AND i am super comfy

my cousin got them all decorated by her SIL for her shower - i wish i could wear hers but i have monster feet

and it gives you a good reason for FH to give a slammin foot rub after the wedding.......

that's what i am worrying about too - the fact that the dress will be altered to the length while wearing the heels... if i put on a flat, the dress will be dragging..... i'm guessing i'll pick a very small heel - cuz i just can't face such a long day with uncomfy shoes on

Bring 2 shoes, i even did that for my e-party...but honestly i took my shoes off and FH HATES IT!!!!!!! so he went and brought me the 2nd pair which were more comfortable but i took those off too hey some dance moves are harder with heels lol

make sure if you change your shoes that you change BACK before they do the garter ( if you are doing that)

my cousin forgot and while everyone was waiting for her she had to run back and i had to put on her shoes -

she paid all that money for her shoes and the garter pictures are the few pictures that actually SHOW the shoe - and she wanted to be cute and sexy and NOT wearing her $3 flip flops! LOL

i will never forget that moment - i was a little tipsy and when she called me to put on her shoes i SLID on my KNEES across the floor to get them on her LOL i am so lucky i didnt moon everyone!
