I was looking to do this bc our hotel (Fox Hollow Inn) requires us to book a min of 6 rooms or we pay out of pocket.
I was hoping if I add in save the date- some people might book early to ease any future stress for me when it comes down to the wire...
Has anyone done this? And if yes- did some of your guests book rooms early as a result?

My family was all out of town also so they booked early, guests did not book until the invitations when out. But I did include the info with the STD's.

I included hotel info since I sent mine out 6 months prior and I don't want to wait for people to get the invites to book...it was close enough...I'm sure some will wait till the last minute but the out of towners will do it soon I hope!

Yes we did and OF COURSE barley anyone booked rooms! But in my opinion, Id still do it again. You cant say you didnt warn them!

Like the other girls, we put our wedding website on the STD so they can make arrangements. I also put on the website the code to use in order to get the wedding discounted rate.

We are putting it on our website & including a small business card with our STD with all the hotel info on it. I didn't want too much on my STD (pics in wedding details album) so it didn't look too busy

This!! I included hotel cards for the OOT people only w/ the STD's
