I LOVE so many Maggie Sottero dresses, but most of them are without sleeves (although Felicity is high on my list too w/ the cap sleeves). I wanted to know if anyone has added straps or sleeves to a previously strapless dress. If so, how much would it cost (approx) & I'd love to see pics!!!!!

Yes, I'm having straps added to a strapless dress, but it's not a Maggie. It would have cost me $200 extra, but they threw it in for free.

My dress is strapless and I am seriously considering adding straps - I was thinking of spaghetti straps laced with crystal.

I did--but mine is by Paula Varsalona--they sort of had to redesign the whole top of the gown (mine are off the shoulder straps)--and they added another layer of pearls. It cost me about $400 to make this change.

I added spaghetti straps to my Marisa dress. They were $90. It was the same material as my dress. They were removable though. I only wanted them in case during the reception I felt uncomfortable.
I don't have any pics on this computer I only wore them a very short time.

This is good to know! Thanks! There are a ton of strapless dresses out there and I know that I want one with straps. Did you find that the straps added support? Or were they basically decorative? Thanks!

Just as an fyi, My Maggie Sottero (Crystal) has three straps on each side and definately fit me much better than maggies other dresses.
They have this dress to try on at the Wedding Center in Commack and at Le Bus Veture in Manhattan in case you were interested. I actually ended up ordering it from Macy's Herald Square.

I have Maggie Royal Romance with A Line skirt and I an having straps added that are the same thinknes as the ribbon in the corset. They havent made the staps yet but I will try to posts pics when I get them done
