Anyone Adding Straps to their Dress

I think I may want to add thin straps to my dress. How much do the straps usually cost and for the additional alterations? TIA!!

My dress was strapless and I wanted to add halter straps, and change the neckline to a sweetheart neckline and there was no additional charge

you can change a dress to a sweetheart neckline? oooohhh!! I would have LOVED to do that! I guess it's too late to do that now if I already ordered it, huh?

I would call the bridal shop you ordered your dress from. If you look in my community album you'll see pics of me in the dress as a strapless straight across neckline and also of the finished product.

I added straps to my dress one week before the wedding. My seamstress found them and they look like rhinestones. Most strapless dresses come with straps as an option. Good luck!

I added a halter strap to my dress...my shop (in VA) made the strap to match the beading on the bodice so it cost $100 but it was perfect!!!!

i am adding sleeves ...they quoted me $200.00
