anyone attend a wedding this weekend at new hyde park inn?
Hi I am a new bride mom and this is my first time posting. Hello to all you moms out there! I was wondering if anyone attending a wedding this weekend at the Inn at New Hyde Park? I believe the renovations were done by last weekend and I am anxious to hear all about it!

Hi...I was at The Inn at New Hyde Park Sunday for my friends wedding. It was incredible. Every detail.. The grounds were beautiful, ceremony was in a stone gazebo all decorated with fresh flowers, the cocktail hour was on the patio and it was one of the best cocktail hours we have ever been to. The food was amazing. Stations everwhere.The main ball room was gorgeous. Large chandeliers, high ceilings, big dance floor. I was SO happy for my friend. She was worried it wouldn't be done but it was. They did a great job. The service, the food everything was better then we could have expected. I am booking with them this week. We are glad we waited for this wedding before we booked anywhere else. We met one of the owners (Frank) to tell him we wanted to come back to talk about dates and pricing. He was so nice. He took the time to show us around. Very soft spoken. He made us feel very comfortable. Cant wait till 09.. Good luck with your wedding..

Thank you so much for the reply. It means alot to me to hear that Frank kept his promise to be ready for the lucky first bride. He is such a sweet and genuine man. We are so excited about our pending wedding. It was a gift that my daughter looked there....the whole place is so well thought out. Good luck to you and thank you again.

Hi... I was married there sept. 2 in the am. It was amazing!! The gardens exceeded my expectations. The ceremony outside in the gazebo was beautiful, they did an amazing job decorating. Cocktail hour was downstairs in the room in the :basement' i guess u can call it. Its an older room but it was still pretty and thee food was very good.... everyone raved about it. Reception was upstairs in the main ballroom. Again, service and food were unbelievable! I'm gonna post a full review on the brides helping brides board for all the nhp brides.

Thank you so much for your reply. First of all...CONGRATULATIONS to you and your new husband. I believe you were the first new bride at the NHP inn since the renovation!!!! I am so glad that everything turned out wonderful for you...I know they were working like crazy to make your day possible. I will look forward to your review.
