Anyone been to a wedding @ SandCastle

Hello Everyone:

I've narrowed down my list. Almost 95% I will be booking my wedding at the Sand Castle. I love it there and the BM we are working with is wonderful. I just wanted to hear your opinion on the place. What was your experience there? Did you feel as a guest they took care of you?

All opinions are appreciated. TIA

Anyone been to a wedding @ SandCastle - Long Island Weddings

I loved this place. went to a wedding last year and said I have to get married there. Food is great and in abundance. The place is impeccable. Visited there and got pricing and was ready to book. But because some of my guest have already been there and the fact I really want something out of the typical wedding feel, decided to look at other venues. But I really enjoyed the wedding I attended. Also for what I was going to pay for a Thursday wedding there, I can have a friday or saturday wedding somewhere else too.

I feel like there was a 2013 bride that was, check the bride reviews board. there's isn't very many 2013- brides left but the ones that are might know.

My best friend got married there and everything was fantastic. The food, the venue, the staff. Everything was perfect.

My friend got married there and I loved every part of the wedding! The food was excellent - staff was friendly.

Went to a wedding there in May and it was great! Food was delicious. DH was a groomsman and said the staff was fantastic. Go for it!

We went to a wedding there a few years ago and it's still one of the best weddings we've ever been too, specifically the food. OMG. So many choices, and it's all so so good.

Thank you so much ladies. I've never attended a wedding here so I just wanted to be sure they took care of our guests. I am so glad to hear such positive reviews.

Was there for a wedding in October. Yes, I did feel taken care of. Great place, no complaints! It was up there on my list.

My cousin got married at the sand castle about 7 years ago and it was great back them! I don't have any current reviews on it, but they're the same owners as Floral Terrace and I've had a great experience with them so far!!!

I was there last night for a wedding and it was great! The food was AMAZING, they offered seconds of all 7 entree options and the cocktail hour was huge and delicious with a full seafood bar. The service was great, the place was so clean and beautiful and you could tell the people from the place were really taking good care of the bride and groom (they held her train while she was trying to get on the elevator, kept asking them if they needed water or anything, etc). The main ballroom is very big. They had about 300 guests and everyone fit comfortably with room the spare. If I were having a bigger wedding I'd definitely be looking into it!

Never been to a wedding there, but my Dh's Christmas party is there every year. We were there on Friday night as as always everything was fantastic.

I went to a wedding there this yr.. I wasn't crazy about the food...i had the steak n it tasted buttery..,steak shouldnt taste like butter lol. Also the parking attended didn't return my keys to the doorman...he left them hidden on the wheel of my tire the whole night.I have a brand new car so I REALLY wasn't comfortable with that at all...it was a fluke i even knew where to find my keys at the end of the night. When it was time to go the doorman almost started to argue with me and my fiance that only 2 cars were left bc he only had two sets of keys left and neither were mine..basically he was telling me I didn't have a car. I had to go outside myself in the freezing cold November weather n search for my own keys and car..in my heels and dress. I wasn't satisfied at all with their service.
