Anyone been to Alaska?

We're seriously considering a cruise to alaska for our honeymoon. We'd fly to vancouver, take a 7 day cruise, and then stay at a resort on vancouver island for 4 days. Just wanted to know if anyone's been, and which cruise line you used. Thanks!

When my sister got married they did the cruise to Alaska for their honeymoon. They LOVED IT !! They got married in 1987 and still talk about that cruise. As a matter of fact when my brother in law's brother got married about 4 yrs agoe, they did it too. All the pictures from both are sooo beautiful, if we were not getting married in the winter I think I would have definetly done that as well. They all raved about everything, and the pictures were really so breathtaking.

I took a cruise to Alaska back in July 2000, I also left from Vancouver. The weather was great about 75 throughout the cruise. In Ketchikan where we went fishing for salmon we had 95 degree weather. Absolutely amazing!!! Pictures do not do Alaska justice. The only thing is that it was a much older crowd, I was 26 and my FH was 31 and we were probably the youngest couple on the cruise. It was also a Royal Caribbean Cruise so I don't know if the other Alaska cruises get a younger crowd. Aside from that the cruise was wonderful.

Hi, My parents are in Alaska as we speak they are doing some 13 day trip. I think it is 4 days on land then they are going on a cruise. I can give you more details when they come back if you want. let me know you can email me at [email protected].

We are taking a cruise of Alaska for our Honeymoon!!! So excited!!!! We are flying into anchorage, and stopping in three ports, we end off in Vancover, and then we are doing a post trip for two days in Vancover and Victoria Island!!!!! I can't wait.. we just booked our excursions.. we are taking a helicopter ride, landing on a glacier, a canoe and safari ride, and a train ride, ohh and whale watching..

We booked with Princess cruises.. I hear that the ships are great, and that alaska is beautiful.. its probably not the 'normal' honeymoon, but hey, its a once in a lifetime thing!!!! If you have any questions just let me know!
